This evening (June 1), information from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted said: Student Truong Van Quoc Bao - a 12th grade A2 student of the school has just won the Gold Medal at the 2022 Asian Informatics Olympiad. Along with this result, Bao is also the Asian Valedictorian of the Vietnamese team, the Valedictorian of the Vietnamese International team. Previously, Bao also held the Valedictorian position in round 2.

The 2022 Asian Olympiad in Informatics will be hosted by Egypt and will be held online.

This is also the second time Truong Van Quoc Bao has won a Gold Medal at this competition. In addition, he also won a Silver Medal at the 2021 International Olympiad in Informatics. At that time, Truong Van Quoc Bao was in grade 11.

With the above results, Bao will continue to join the Vietnamese team to participate in the International Olympiad in Informatics, scheduled to take place in August in Indonesia. He is also the first student from Nghe An to win a medal at the international arena this school year.
