(Baonghean.vn) - This is one of the contents approved in the Resolution on the National Assembly's Supervision Program in 2023. Accordingly, at the 5th Session, the 15th National Assembly will consider the thematic supervision report "Mobilization, management and use of resources for Covid-19 prevention and control".

On the afternoon of June 6, on the 11th working day of the 3rd Session, under the direction of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong, the 15th National Assembly voted to pass the Resolution on the National Assembly's Supervision Program in 2023 after listening to the Report on receiving and explaining opinions of National Assembly deputies.

With 440/449 delegates participating in the vote in favor, accounting for 88.18%, the National Assembly passed the Resolution on the National Assembly's Supervision Program in 2023. The Resolution has a structure of 2 Articles with contents on the content of the supervision program and the organization of the implementation of the Resolution.

Accordingly, at the 5th Session, the National Assembly will consider the Government's reports on: additional assessment of the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the State budget in 2022; the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the State budget in the first months of 2023; the State financial report in 2021; the State budget settlement report in 2021; the report on thrift practice and waste prevention in 2022; consider the report of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 4th Session; conduct questions and answers from National Assembly deputies; consider the thematic monitoring report "Mobilization, management and use of resources for Covid-19 prevention and control; implementation of policies and laws on grassroots health care and preventive medicine"; consider the report of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the implementation of the supervisory recommendations of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committees, the National Assembly delegations and National Assembly deputies (if any); consider other reports of relevant agencies in accordance with the provisions of law.

At the 6th session, the National Assembly will review the Government's reports on the mid-term assessment of the implementation results of the 2021-2025 five-year plans on: socio-economic development, economic restructuring, medium-term public investment, national finance and borrowing and public debt repayment; results of the implementation of the 2023 socio-economic development plan, state budget and the 2024 socio-economic development plan, state budget estimates, central budget allocation plan; results of the implementation of the 2023 public investment plan and the 2024 plan; results of the implementation of the National Assembly's resolutions on the 2021-2025 five-year plan: National target program on new rural construction; National target program on sustainable poverty reduction; National target program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; Implementation of Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 dated January 11, 2022 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program; anti-corruption and negativity work; anti-crime and law violation work, execution of judgments...

The National Assembly will also consider reports of the Government, the Supreme People's Court, and the Supreme People's Procuracy on the settlement of complaints and denunciations; reports of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 5th Session; results of receiving citizens, handling petitions and monitoring the settlement of citizens' complaints and denunciations sent to the National Assembly; conducting questioning and answering questions of National Assembly deputies; taking a vote of confidence for people holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly...

The resolution requires that during the supervision process, it is necessary to deepen the clarification of issues and responsibilities of agencies, organizations and individuals subject to supervision; use information from the State Audit and inspection agencies during the supervision process. Resolutions on supervision and questioning need to be concise, clear, with quantitative criteria, timelines, specific responsibilities of relevant agencies, organizations and individuals, and assign tasks to agencies according to their functions and duties to monitor and supervise the implementation of resolutions and recommendations after supervision.

Next, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the summary and overall assessment of the implementation of Resolution No. 66/2013/QH13 and the plan for the implementation of the Ho Chi Minh Road project in the next phase. Earlier in the morning of the same day, under the direction of Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, the National Assembly listened to Minister of Transport Nguyen Van The, authorized by the Prime Minister, present the Report on Investment Policy for the construction projects of the Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang expressway (phase 1); Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot (phase 1); Bien Hoa - Vung Tau (phase 1); Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Report on Investment Policy for the Hanoi Capital Region Ring Road 4 Project and the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 Project. Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh presented the Verification Report on these two contents.

Next, the National Assembly discussed in groups the investment policy for the above 5 transport projects. The National Assembly delegation from Nghe An discussed in Group 11 with delegates from Bac Giang and Khanh Hoa.
