Has the US changed tactics in Ukraine?
The United States continues to send weapons to the Ukrainian military, but the purpose of these shipments has changed, China's Global Times reported.
According to the author of the article, Washington is now not focused on helping Ukraine but rather on creating chaos.
"US military aid has gone beyond its previously stated mission of helping Ukraine defeat Russia. The White House is also considering national interests. This new arms supply will bring Washington back to a position of global dominance," the author of the article explains.

Earlier, US Deputy Secretary of Defense Colin Kahl stated that the new US military aid package for Kyiv includes four HIMARS multiple rocket launcher systems (MLRS), capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 80km, with the equipment currently being delivered.
Vladimir Zelensky publicly confirmed that he would comply with Washington's demands and would not use this new weapon against Moscow. Meanwhile, Yegor Chernev, a member of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament), did not rule out an attack on Russian territory.
Dmitry Peskov, press secretary to the Russian leader, noted that Moscow has no trust in the Ukrainian side, as they had previously failed to keep their sole promise to resolve the conflict in Donbass through peaceful means.
The journalist stated that America's role as a global leader has been shaken and the situation has spiraled out of their control. In an effort to regain lost ground, the Biden administration is deploying every effort to disrupt the world order.
