A few days later, this person continued to ask Nang to transport 120 heroin cakes for a fee of 960 million VND. Faced with the large sum of money, Nang agreed.
On the morning of April 2, 2021, at a cafe in Lao Cai City, this person gave Nang 15 million VND to rent a car and pay for drug transportation.
After that, Trang rented a Ford Everest and drove alone to Nghe An. At 9 p.m. the same day, when he was about 3 kilometers from Thanh Thuy border gate, Nang saw a man standing on the side of the road signaling. Knowing that he was a drug dealer, Nang stopped the car. At this time, there was a group of about 10 people carrying 10 backpacks to get into Nang's car.
Then, Nang turned the car around to go back to Lao Cai. When the car reached the Hoang Mai toll station (Nghe An), the authorities arrested it with more than 191 kg of drugs.
At the trial, the defendant admitted to all the crimes as charged in the indictment. Nang said that because he was greedy for a large sum of money, he agreed to transport drugs.
