Investment and trade promotion connection workshop between Nghe An and Hanoi
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to enhance the promotion and connection of investment, trade and tourism, on the afternoon of June 10, in Vinh City, the People's Committee of Nghe An province coordinated with Hanoi City to organize a workshop to promote the connection of investment partners between Hanoi and Nghe An in 2022.
Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee chaired the workshop. Attending were representatives of Nghe An Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center (NAPC), Hanoi Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center (HPA); representatives of Chungcheongnam Province Trade Promotion Office (Korea) and a number of business associations and investors from Hanoi and Nghe An.

In his opening speech, on behalf of the leaders of Nghe An province, Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee warmly welcomed the delegates and investors who were present in Nghe An to attend this workshop. Appreciating the practical significance of the workshop, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hoped that in addition to introducing and connecting, the workshop would have more good comments and suggestions to improve the investment environment in Nghe An.

Next, the representative of Nghe An Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center introduced the general socio-economic situation, investment environment, transport infrastructure sectors in which Nghe An has strengths; potential and investment results to support the development of OCOP products, key sectors that the province focuses on developing, competitive advantages when businesses invest in Nghe An; the list of projects calling for investment of the province and support policies...
Speaking at the conference, a representative of the Hanoi City Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion introduced the socio-economic situation and some highlights of the investment environment, including the situation of attracting foreign direct investment, typical OCOP products, investment attraction policies for businesses, support packages for OCOP agricultural products...
It is known that this is an event in the series of events of Hanoi - Nghe An Product Week 2022. Therefore, after the workshop, there will be many connection and promotion activities between the two localities, so we hope that businesses and investors will continue to pay attention and support the province.

At the workshop, a representative of the Trade Promotion Office of Chungcheongnam Province (Korea) spoke and proposed support plans to introduce Nghe An's investment environment to Korean enterprises, thereby connecting local enterprises. Also within the framework of the workshop, a representative of Aeon TopValu Vietnam Company (under the Japanese Aeon Group) oriented product standards into the distribution chain system.

Some Nghe An enterprises hope that the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of the two localities, the Trade Promotion Office of Chungcheongnam Province (South Korea) and Aeon TopValu Vietnam Company (under the Japanese Aeon Group) will share more information on standards and technical barriers for Vietnamese agricultural products and exports to enter the Japanese and Korean markets...

Based on the discussion and suggestions, the Director of the Trade Promotion Office of Chungnam Province (Korea) in Hanoi, Aeon TopValu Vietnam Company (under the Japanese Aeon Group) and the Nghe An NAPC Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center answered a number of questions raised by business associations and investors. On behalf of the two localities, the representative of the Hanoi Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center respectfully received the comments at the workshop.
