Nghe An Youth Union launched the 2022 'Pink Holiday' volunteer campaign
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 11, in Quynh Luu district, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Agencies' Youth Union in coordination with Quynh Luu District Youth Union organized the launching ceremony of the "Pink Holiday" Volunteer Campaign 2022.

The "Pink Holiday" volunteer campaign is one of the five key programs of the annual summer youth volunteer campaign of the Youth Union at all levels. The core force is young people, workers, civil servants, public employees, and young entrepreneurs.
This year's volunteer campaign was organized on a large scale, simultaneously in all levels of the Youth Union in the whole province. This demonstrated the enthusiasm, daring to innovate, daring to act with meaningful, practical projects and tasks that have a strong spreading value in the community of local youth.

With the motto of action "Widespread - Safe - Effective - Sustainable", closely following the Plan of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Launching Ceremony of the 2022 "Pink Holiday" Volunteer Campaign was organized with 4 key response activities: Visiting and giving gifts to pediatric patients in difficult circumstances, organizing the "Steps for the Community" running activity to contribute to the implementation of social security projects.
In particular, the program "Digital transformation for the community" is one of the important activities to improve the effectiveness of propaganda on e-government building and consulting, supporting and guiding people to perform online public services in the coming time.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, comrade Nguyen Cong Minh - Member of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Agencies Youth Union, emphasized that the 2022 Pink Holiday Campaign has a more important meaning when the youth of the whole province are striving to compete to achieve achievements to welcome the Youth Union Congresses at all levels towards the 18th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nghe An province, the 12th National Youth Union Congress, term 2022 - 2027.
From that practical meaning, the Secretary of the Provincial Agencies' Youth Union hopes that each member, youth and each Youth Union unit will turn the spirit of volunteering into specific, practical actions to contribute to the overall success of the campaign.

This year's "Pink Holiday" campaign has many new activities to suit the context and socio-economic development situation of the country such as: Deploying volunteer teams to take care of health, screening for post-Covid-19 diseases for free for people; establishing and training "Digital transformation for the community" teams with the goal of "Administrative reform associated with enhancing the application of digital technology to serve the people".
