Arrest of a group of young people organizing drug use at a resort

On June 16, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police, said that the unit had just coordinated with Cua Lo Town Police to arrest 5 subjects in the act ofillegal use of drugsLieutenant.

Accordingly, at 1:00 a.m. on June 15, 2022, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, in coordination with Cua Lo Town Police, deployed forces to raid a villa at a resort in Nghi Hai Ward, Cua Lo Town.

Here, the police caught 5 subjects (3 men, 2 women) aged 28 to 46 in the act of illegally using drugs. Of these, 3 subjects reside in Vinh city, 1 subject resides in Tuong Duong district and 1 subject resides in Ha Tinh province.

Police seized 0.29 grams of ketamine and some drug paraphernalia at the scene. Rapid test results showed 4/5 subjects were positive for drugs.

Initially, the subjects confessed that the above drugs were brought by Cao Hung Cuong (born in 1976) and Nguyen Hoai Nam (born in 1996), both residing in Quan Bau ward, Vinh city, and organized for the remaining subjects to use together.

Currently, the police are continuing to consolidate records and documents to handle the subjects in accordance with legal regulations.
