Vo Anh Duong - a good and studious girl

Vo Anh Duong's family house is located right next to the village field on the road to the center of Lac Son commune. After the high school exam, Anh Duong diligently stayed at home to help his parents with the housework. In his free time, he sat at his desk to review his knowledge. In the recent 10th grade entrance exam, Anh Duong's score was impressive, with 9.5 points in Literature alone. With this score, the whole province only had 64 students who scored 9.5 points in Literature, out of a total of nearly 40,000 candidates taking the exam. Foreign Language scored 9 points, Math scored 9.5 points.

Anh Duong has quite an impressive academic record. From grade 1 to grade 5, she was an excellent student. In grade 2, Anh Duong passed the entrance exam to Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School. Right from grade 6, Anh Duong was an excellent student in the district in Math, ranked 3rd. In grades 7, 8, and 9, Anh Duong maintained her high ranking as an excellent student in the district in Math, and in grade 9, she ranked 2nd among the excellent students in Math in the whole district.

Talking about her learning experience, Anh Duong shared: “To study well in Math, first of all, you must master the basic knowledge, work hard to do advanced math problems. Research and think about solving math problems in Tuoi Tre newspaper. For Foreign Language and Literature, in class, you need to pay attention to what the teacher teaches, review the lesson at home, and solve questions close to the exam. In the last exam, I was calm, confident, and focused on remembering the knowledge I had learned to do the test. When I finished the test, I graded myself in Math and English, and the results matched the published exam scores.”

Nguyen Tat Quan - great academic achievements

I really admire this student's achievements. From grade 1 to grade 5, Tat Quan was an excellent student. In grade 4, he won second prize in the Math Olympiad, second prize in the IOE exam, and in grade 5, he won first prize in the Math Champion exam. In grade 2, Tat Quan entered Ly Nhat Quang High School, in the same class as Anh Duong. In grade 6, Tat Quan won first prize in the district's excellent student in Math, a Silver Medal in the IMC competition in Singapore. In grade 7, he was the valedictorian of the district's excellent student in Math. In grade 8, he won first prize in the district's excellent student in Math, and valedictorian of the provincial-level Math competition for children. In grade 9, Tat Quan continued to win many awards: valedictorian of the district's excellent student in Math, second prize in the provincial excellent student in Math, TOEFL English score of 870; Valedictorian of the 10th grade entrance exam in Do Luong district, top 5 in the province with a score of 28.1, including 9 in Literature, 9.6 in Foreign Language, 9.5 in Math... In addition, Tat Quan is also an MC in English Festival programs at the district and cluster levels.

In the last exam, Tat Quan passed the Math Specialized class.Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, ranked 4th.

Tat Quan shared: “To study well, I always pay attention to the teachers' lectures. I should choose necessary and useful exercises to solve. Balance between studying and playing. I often listen to KPOP music.”
