(Baonghean.vn) - At this time, Nghe An is upgrading and expanding Lach Quen fishing port in Quynh Thuan commune, (Quynh Luu). The goal is to facilitate the provision of fishing logistics services, ensuring that ships and boats dock safely.

The project aims to repair, upgrade and expand the combined anchorage area.Lach Quen fishing port,Quynh Thuan commune, Quynh Luu district. The items include: Upgrading, expanding and building a new wharf in Quynh Thuan commune, including renovating, upgrading and expanding the wharf with a length of about 564m and an additional width of 1.5m, building a new wharf with a length of about 45m and a width of 15m, and building 7 seafood storage houses (100m2/house).

In addition, there are also items, lighting system, drainage, wastewater treatment system and fire prevention and fighting system.

The above project is invested by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development from the capital source supported by the Central Government to Nghe An province to invest in building fisheries service infrastructure according to Decision 56/QD-TTg, dated August 8, 2019 of the Prime Minister.

Up to this point, the project has completed over 35% of the volume, completed the 16-meter deep pile driving (100% of the volume), and the concrete pile driving (70% of the volume). Currently, the construction of pouring concrete beams on piles, dredging Lach Quen within a length of more than 500m is continuing... It is expected that this project will be put into use by the end of December 2022.
