At the conference, the Provincial Military Party Committee assessed that in the past 6 months, it has successfully led and completed many tasks, notably the preparation for the provincial defense and civil defense drills; the selection and call-up of citizens for military service achieved 100% of the assigned targets for units, without compensation; the preparation and attentive service of the 50th Anniversary Conference on the Plain of Jars - Xieng Khouang Defense Campaign; the search and collection of remains of martyrs who died in Laos were carried out effectively and solemnly;...

The leadership work to build a strong and comprehensive agency and unit, a "typical model", has many positive changes. The unit's situation is stable and developing; internal solidarity and unity.

Party committees at all levels in the Provincial Military Party Committee have organized the study, dissemination and serious implementation of regulations, conclusions and resolutions of the Party Central Committee, the Central Military Commission; directives and resolutions of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 4, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on Party building work; at the same time, organized a close "self-examination, self-correction" thematic meeting, contributing to raising awareness, orienting ideology, building exemplary clean and strong Party committees and organizations; organized the signing and implementation of the coordination regulations between the Party Committee and the district, city and town Party Committees on leading military and defense work and Party building work; directed the Party cell congresses for the 2022-2025 term closely and in accordance with regulations.

At the conference, the Provincial Military Party Committee discussed and agreed on the direction, goals, tasks, and solutions for leadership in implementing tasks in the last 6 months of the year. Accordingly, it will continue to lead and successfully implement the goals, targets, and military and defense tasks of 2022; focus on advising on preparation and organizing defense area and civil defense exercises and exercises according to Decree 30,130 of the Government.

Advise the Provincial Party Committee to do a good job of preparing and directing the district, city and town Party Committees to organize the Conference to summarize 10 years of implementing the Resolution of the 8th Central Committee (11th tenure) on the strategy to protect the Fatherland in the new situation; effectively implement the breakthrough: "Building a comprehensive, exemplary and typical district, city and town military command"; complete the remaining goals, targets and main tasks set for 2022; ensure absolute safety in all aspects, focus on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees, Party organizations and unit leaders to successfully complete assigned tasks.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee informed about the outstanding socio-economic results of the province in the first 6 months of the year; thereby acknowledging and highly appreciating the positive and effective contributions of the Military Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command to maintaining national defense and security, effectively handling many unexpected tasks; contributing to stabilizing the area, creating a foundation for socio-economic development of the province.

Analyzing the context and situation in the international and domestic contexts that have a direct impact on the province; as well as the tasks set for the last 6 months of the year are very high, especially the implementation of the growth target that requires higher than the results achieved in the past half year, thereby achieving the province's growth target for the whole year of 8.5 - 9.5%, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: In addition to the efforts of the Party Committee and the government, the military forces need to continue to promote the achieved results; coordinate with other forces to grasp the area and situation to advise the province to handle promptly; at the same time, prepare forces and means to respond to natural disasters.

Along with that, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province also requested that, as a standing agency, the Military Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command continue to coordinate with relevant local Party committees and authorities and advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to successfully organize the provincial defense zone and civil defense drills in the coming time and 5 district-level defense zone drills; at the same time, continue to carry out the work of educating knowledge of national defense and security for the subjects.

Lieutenant Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command also evaluated and analyzed to clarify the results in the first 6 months of the year, as well as the direction and tasks in the coming time. In particular, he emphasized the viewpoint that he will continue to focus all efforts on leading, directing and advising local Party committees and authorities to lead and direct the implementation of preparations and practice of defense and civil defense exercises according to plan, ensuring quality and safety.

"UNITY, UNITY; PROACTIVE, FOCUSED; HARMONY AND SMOOTH INTEGRATION FROM TOP TO BOTTOM, INSIDE AND OUT"

Concluding the conference, after a comprehensive analysis of all aspects of activities, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Military Party Committee of Nghe An province Thai Thanh Quy concluded that the causes of the results that the Provincial Military Party Committee had achieved in the first 6 months of the year stemmed from: "The Party Committee was united and unified; very proactive, focused and in harmony with each other, internally and externally".

In the last 6 months of the year, it is forecasted that there will be many difficulties and challenges, especially the unpredictable developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the impacts from the world situation. The Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee requested that the Provincial Military Party Committee not be subjective or negligent in leading and directing the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic, but must always be proactive and pioneering.

Along with that, the Provincial Military Party Committee continues to lead and direct the provincial military forces to always be proactive from afar, in advance, and early, and coordinate with other forces to grasp developments and situations, advise the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to handle them promptly; at the same time, focus highly, proactively advise on implementing the provincial defense and civil defense area drills; as well as advise the Provincial Steering Committee to direct and inspect 5 district-level units to conduct defense area drills in 2022, to successfully deploy the drills, according to plan, procedures and ensure absolute safety.

The Provincial Party Secretary and the Provincial Military Party Secretary also noted that after the conference, the Provincial Military Party Committee also needs to focus on leadership and direction to overcome the weaknesses and weak points pointed out in the first 6 months of the year.

Before concluding the conference, comrade Thai Thanh Quy emphasized: The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, all sectors and levels highly appreciated and paid great attention to the activities of the Provincial Party Committee and Military Command. Therefore, the Provincial Party Committee and Military Command need to continue to promote the spirit of "Solidarity, unity; proactiveness, concentration; harmony between top and bottom, inside and outside" to strive to best complete the tasks, goals and targets set in 2022.
