(Baonghean.vn) - By the end of June 30, 2022, in Nghe An province, there were nearly 13,000 organizations, businesses, households and individuals operating and using registered invoices that had switched to using electronic invoices. And the Nghe An Provincial Tax Department was commended by the General Department of Taxation for outstanding achievements in implementing electronic invoices in phase 2.

On June 13, 2019, the 14th National Assembly passed the Law on Tax Administration No. 38/2019/QH14, effective from July 1, 2020. To implement the Law, the Government issued Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP regulating invoices and documents, with the most important new point being the regulation on conversion to apply electronic invoices from July 1, 2022.

With the urgent implementation time according to the roadmap set by the General Department of Taxation: by the end of May 10, 2022, at least 50% must be completed, by the end of May 31, 2022, 90% must be completed, and by the end of June 30, 2022, 100% of the number of enterprises, economic organizations, business households, and business individuals who are using invoices must be completed to switch to using electronic invoices. Nghe An Tax sector has identified the implementation of electronic invoices as the focus of the whole sector in 2022 and has urgent political significance, requiring the participation of the entire local political system.

The Tax Department has proposed the People's Committee of Nghe An province to establish a Steering Committee for the implementation of electronic invoices, and at the same time advise on the issuance of a detailed and specific plan on the implementation of electronic invoices in the province. The Tax Department has also sought the attention and cooperation of press agencies in propaganda and mobilization of taxpayers to register to use electronic invoices.

Nghe An Tax Department has classified taxpayers into groups, built implementation roadmaps for each group, issued a number of documents related to e-invoice policies to propagate, train, and disseminate policies as well as the benefits and extremely important meanings in transforming the management method, using e-invoices and helping to save costs for businesses and society.

The Tax Authority has also established an electronic invoice deployment control center and coordinated with organizations providing electronic invoice services in the province to promptly approach and support taxpayers in the process of converting to electronic invoices.

By the end of June 30, 2022, in Nghe An province, there were nearly 13,000 organizations, enterprises, households and individuals operating in the business, using invoices registered and switched to using electronic invoices according to Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP and Circular No. 78/2021/TT-BTC (equivalent to 100% of the assigned plan).

June 27, 2022,Nghe An Provincial Tax Department(belonging to 24 provincial and municipal Tax Departments) were commended by the General Department of Taxation for outstanding achievements in implementing electronic invoices in phase 2.

The above results were achieved thanks to the close and drastic direction of the General Department of Taxation, the Provincial People's Committee, the high determination of the entire Nghe An Tax sector, the coordination and support of local authorities at all levels, press agencies and the support and companionship of the taxpayer community over the past time.

With many unified and synchronous measures, Nghe An Tax sector has successfully completed the task of deploying electronic invoices in the province, ensuring the correct progress and roadmap, contributing to promoting the digital transformation process, modernizing and simplifying administrative procedures of the Tax sector in particular and the Finance sector in general, towards successfully completing the task of budget collection.
