More than 36,000 Nghe An candidates officially entered the 2022 High School Graduation Exam

The high school graduation exam is held for two purposes: to recognize graduation and to consider admission to universities and colleges. This year, the exam is basically the same as last year. However, there are also some technical adjustments to make it more convenient for candidates and to ensure the safety and seriousness of the exam.

A notable new point in the 2022 High School Graduation Exam is that candidates are required to register for the exam online, unlike before when they could register both online and in person.

To prepare for this year's exam, Nghe An has issued documents and directly directed exam sites to coordinate with units and localities to proactively develop and deploy plans to ensure security and safety for the exam and support candidates.

In addition, facilities, equipment, vehicles, and service conditions have been prepared; surveillance cameras have been arranged at exam locations according to regulations; traffic safety plans have been developed, transportation support for candidates on exam days has been provided; accommodation support has been provided for exam invigilators, candidates, and relatives who come from far away to take the exam.

With more than 36,000 candidates taking the exam, Nghe An is one of the provinces with the largest number of candidates in the country. Of these, 4,518 candidates took the exam for graduation and more than 30,819 candidates took the exam for graduation and university admission. In addition, 1,447 high school graduates took the exam for university admission. The number of Continuing Education candidates taking the university entrance exam was 2,807 candidates.

For this exam, the province has arranged 69 exam sites and 1,584 official exam rooms and 79 waiting rooms. In addition, 2-3 backup exam rooms have been arranged at the exam sites to prevent unusual situations or candidates belonging to the F0 category. In preparation for this year's exam, nearly 5,000 invigilators and security, medical, and militia forces have been mobilized to serve the exam.

At the Nghe An Examination Council, there are 3 universities participating in the inspection and supervision of the organization of the exam. In addition, the province has also organized mobile inspection teams to inspect and check during the exam days.

This morning, according to the schedule, candidates will take the Literature exam with a time limit of 120 minutes; in the afternoon, candidates will take the Math exam with a time limit of 90 minutes. These are also compulsory subjects in this year's exam.
