Nghe An organizes press conference in July 2022

On the morning of July 6, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications, and the Provincial Journalists Association jointly organized the July 2022 press conference.

In June, press agencies strictly followed the propaganda direction of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department. In the fields of current affairs, politics, domestic and foreign affairs activities were fully and promptly reported. The highlight in June was that there were many articles and programs published and broadcasted on activities commemorating the 97th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day; promoting the role, responsibility and ethics of journalists towards society.

Press agencies have published news and articles reflecting issues of public concern such as: Construction progress of the North-South Expressway and key projects after attracting investment in the province; high gasoline prices, directly affecting the lives of people and businesses; the issue of domestic water supply for Vinh city and surrounding areas; slow-progress projects, "suspended" projects; shortage of drugs and medical equipment at public hospitals.

At the conference, Professor Thai Van Thanh - Director of the Provincial Department of Education and Training informed about the 2022 High School Graduation Exam. This year's exam will be held on July 7-8. In Nghe An, there are 69 exam sites (Nghe An is the largest exam site after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City), with 1,584 official exam rooms and 79 waiting rooms. The number of candidates registered for the exam is 36,743.

Up to now, the Education and Training sector has prepared to ensure human and material resources to organize the exam safely, seriously, transparently, objectively and qualitatively; creating the most favorable conditions for candidates in the new normal state, adapting safely, flexibly, and effectively preventing the Covid-19 epidemic.

Regarding the propaganda orientation for July 2022, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested press agencies to focus on informing, propagating, and deeply spreading the content and results of the implementation of the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress in conjunction with 5 groups of programs and 21 key projects. Strengthen propaganda to build and rectify the Party and the political system; innovate the Party's leadership method for the socio-political system in the new period.
