The candidate who leaked the Math exam questions in the High School Graduation Exam has been clarified.

On July 15, Da Nang City Police sent a dispatch to the Da Nang Examination Council to "exchange information related to the suspected leaking case".examMath in the 2022 high school graduation exam".

Accordingly, Da Nang City Police has coordinated with Da Nang Examination Council to update, supplement records, and handle violations of exam regulations by candidates according to regulations; at the same time, clarify the role and responsibility of exam supervisors for the mistakes. At the same time, continue to verify, consolidate information and propose forms of handling for candidates who have leaked exam questions according to the provisions of law.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City, at the Da Nang Examination Council on the afternoon of July 7, during the timeexamMath, a candidate took advantage of the exam supervisor's negligence, used his mobile phone to take a photo of page 1 and page 3, exam code 112, and sent it to the online tutoring application Snapask to ask for help (at 3:46 p.m.).

In addition, this candidate did not connect with any other individual to assist in answering the exam questions and no one else helped the candidate commit the violation. After completing the Math exam, the candidate signed and submitted the exam according to regulations and left. The exam supervisor did not detect the violation of the candidate.

Also according to the Department of Education and Training, since July 9, after receiving information about the suspected leak of Math exam questions at the Da Nang Examination Council, the leaders of the examination council have worked and discussed with representatives of the Da Nang City Police to coordinate and obtain information.

The Da Nang Department of Education and Training will also implement the Examination Regulations, the Da Nang Examination Council will update and supplement records, and handle violations of the Examination Regulations by candidates according to regulations. The Department of Education and Training has also clarified the roles and responsibilities of the invigilators to prevent errors. Continue to review and evaluate the organization of the examination to gain experience for other examinations.

Da Nang City Police will continue to verify, consolidate information and propose disciplinary action against candidates who have leaked exam questions according to the law.
