The 4th Military Region Command approves the defense exercise plan.
(Baonghean.vn) - On July 15, the 4th Military Region Command held a conference to approve the plan for the 2022 regional defense and civil defense exercises in Nghe An province; and the regional defense exercise in Thanh Hoa province.
Major General Ha Tho Binh - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 4, chaired the conference. Attendees included Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 4; and Major General Le Tat Thang - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4.
Representing Nghe An province were Lieutenant Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; and Colonel Pham Van Dong - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command.

At the conference, delegates heard reports from the Military Commands of Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces on the plan for regional defense and civil defense exercises.

The conference discussed, analyzed, and contributed ideas to supplement and adjust some content to suit the actual situation of the live-fire plans of each unit in the provincial defense and civil defense exercises in 2022.
In his concluding remarks at the conference, Major General Ha Tho Binh, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4, highly appreciated the preparations for the 2022 exercise by the Steering Committee for the regional defense and civil defense exercise of Nghe An province and the Steering Committee for the regional defense exercise of Thanh Hoa province, as well as the coordination and cooperation in developing the live-fire plan by military units stationed in the area.
The Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 4 emphasized: Units need to leverage their combined strength and overcome difficulties to complete all aspects of the exercise. They should continue to thoroughly understand and seriously implement new directives, resolutions, and circulars; advise and coordinate with units of the Ministry and Military Region stationed in the area to finalize the plan for the regional defense and civil defense exercise; the live-fire scenario; and provide training on exercise knowledge for the training teams.
At the same time, it is necessary to make full preparations in terms of personnel, facilities, equipment, and technical means for the exercise; thoroughly practice the plans, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and safety in all aspects.
