Civil Servants' Union held a seminar to celebrate its 22nd anniversary.

At the seminar, delegates reviewed 22 years of establishment.Nghe An Civil Servants' Union(July 12, 2000 - July 12, 2022). Since its establishment, Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union has grown steadily, making many positive contributions to the role of protecting and caring for the legitimate rights and interests of workers. Among them, it is impossible not to mention the effective emulation movements that the Civil Servants' Trade Union has launched, welfare programs, caring for the spiritual and material life of union members and workers, community activities, practical gratitude programs... Through emulation movements and activities, many union officials have matured, been appointed to high positions in the Party and in their profession, and many shining examples have been honored.

With the characteristics of high cultural and professional level of union members, stable union financial income, and favorable conditions from the Party Committee and professional bodies, the Civil Servants' Union has many advantages in organizing activities. However, because of the increasing number of professional tasks, mainly administrative activities, union activities at grassroots unions are difficult to stand out.

Comrade Nguyen Cong Danh - Chairman of Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union also reported on the situation and results of the Civil Servants' Trade Union's activities in the past time. Accordingly, the head of the Civil Servants' Trade Union pointed out the difficulties and challenges in the current period. That is the lack of clarity and vagueness of the trade union organization in emulation movements at grassroots trade unions such as the movement "Good workers, creative workers", administrative reform, digital transformation...; there is still a lack of responsibility of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the movement "Civil servants and public employees compete to implement office culture"...

Attending the seminar, delegates enthusiastically shared their working experiences and solutions to overcome difficulties to improve the quality of activities and the role of trade unions in movements.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Hoang Van Nhien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies affirmed that the Civil Servants' Trade Union is a unique unit, different from other trade union units in other sectors, so to improve quality, innovation and creativity in both organization and operation are needed. In particular, implementing Resolution 02 of the Politburo on trade union innovation in the new period, it is necessary to strongly promote the digital transformation movement. In addition, trade union officials need to be a pioneering and courageous force, contributing to affirming their position.

Sharing the same view, Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged the achievements of the expanded and diversified activities of the Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union. However, to get better recognition, he said that the Civil Servants' Trade Union needs to innovate its activities and pay attention to personnel work. Accordingly, union cadres need to be truly dedicated, concerned, and have a voice in the unit.
