Awarded 210 million VND to support the construction of charity houses in Cua Lo town

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 23, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province coordinated with Cua Lo town to organize a ceremony to present gratitude houses to families of martyrs in Nghi Hoa ward (Cua Lo town).

On this occasion, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province coordinated with Cua Lo town to organize a ceremony to present 50 million VND in support for building a house of gratitude to Mrs. Truong Thi Vinh, wife of martyr Nguyen Trong Vinh, in Nghi Hoa ward (Cua Lo town). The above support fund was supported by the Bien Dong Ba Ria Vung Tau Jumping Squid Company. This is the 425th house that the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province called for and mobilized.

In addition, organizations, unions and units also presented Mrs. Vinh's family with practical gifts: Cua Lo town's "Repaying gratitude" Fund donated 40 million VND, the town's Veterans Association supported 5 million VND, Nghi Xuan commune's People's Credit Fund supported 5 million VND, Nghi Hoa ward's Red Cross Association supported 5 million VND, comrades of martyr Nguyen Trong Vinh of the Ministry of National Defense supported a savings book worth 10 million VND and brothers and children supported 95 million VND.

Mrs. Vinh's family is in a difficult situation. Her husband passed away, leaving her to raise her only daughter. Currently, Mrs. Vinh is living with her daughter's family on the land left by her ancestors.

The house of gratitude of Mrs. Vinh's family was built with a total cost of over 200 million VND from the generosity of both material and labor support, and is expected to be inaugurated on July 27.
