Meanwhile, experts from the 19FortyFive publication are wondering why the Russians have not yet used one of their main trump cards, the T-14 Armata tank. Analyst Alex Betley of the publication notes that these tanks will be very useful for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the battlefield.
"The T-14 can quickly overcome vast territories thanks to its 1,500-horsepower engine and large fuel reserves. This tank can also neutralize Ukrainian infantry from a distance using new ammunition and fire control systems. They have been tested in Syria to evaluate every detail in combat conditions and the use of tanks of this generation seems to be justified," Belti noted.
However, military expert Alexei Leonkov has an explanation for this, saying that some systems are not used due to NATO surveillance.
"We understand that NATO is studying us, so if we use Tor, then Tor-M1, if we use Buk, then Buk-M2. Buk-M3 is not used for the time being, Tor-M3 with 16 missiles is also not used yet. In fact, NATO is studying those weapons that we are about to abandon and move on to more advanced models," Leonkov said.
In addition, the newspaper notes, in Ukraine today, modern weapons do not have corresponding tasks.
