Conflict in life, trying to kill uncle
From conflicts in daily life, back and forth words and arguments, a subject in Tan Yen district (Bac Giang) developed resentment and tried to kill his uncle twice. The case has just been investigated by the Criminal Police Department of Bac Giang Provincial Police in coordination with Tan Yen District Police.
Previously, at around 9:00 p.m. on July 28, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien (born in 1955) in Nguon village, Lien Chung commune, Tan Yen district discovered a metal bar connected to an electrical wire from a 220V outlet at the door of her family's bathroom.
Thinking about the fact that about a month before, she was also poisoned with rat poison and had to go to the hospital for emergency treatment, Ms. Hien was scared and went to report to the Tan Yen District Police.

Determining that the case had signs of "murder", Tan Yen District Police reported to the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police to coordinate in organizing the investigation, verification and persuading Nguyen Van Ban (born in 1992), also residing in Nguon village, Lien Chung commune, Tan Yen district to surrender.
At the police station, the subject initially confessed that due to difficult family circumstances, from 2020 until now, Ban's family of 4 people has been staying at the house of his uncle, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien.
After 2 years of living together, the two sides often had conflicts, from collisions in daily life leading to arguments and fights. Gradually, the subject developed hatred and "nurtured" the intention to kill his uncle.

Thinking and doing, in early June 2022, the subject went to the market to buy a package of rat poison powder, mixed it with water, and then poured it into Ms. Hien's food to poison her. As a result, she was poisoned and had to be taken to Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi) for emergency treatment.
Nearly a month later, on the evening of July 28, the subject continued to use electrical wires and metal bars, connected to the electrical outlet inside the bathroom that Ms. Hien often used to create a "tool" to kill people.
Currently, the Criminal Police Department of Bac Giang Provincial Police is detaining the subject to continue investigating and handling according to the provisions of law.
