(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 5, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc held a drawing ceremony to divide the groups for men's football and women's volleyball at the traditional sports tournament to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the founding of the Party Committee of the Bloc (September 22, 1954 - September 22, 2022).

The traditional sports tournament of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies was organized to promote the movement "All people practice physical exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" among cadres, party members, union members, and association members.Provincial Agencies Block. Through sports activities to strengthen solidarity, create a joyful and exciting atmosphere to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the founding of the Party Bloc and successfully carry out political tasks in agencies and units.
This sports tournament is expected to open on August 19 and close on August 25 at Vinh City Sports Stadium and the football field of Nghe An Digital Economics Vocational College No. 1.

In football, 22 teams are divided into 7 groups. The competition is based on 7-a-side football rules. The teams in each group compete in a round robin to select the group winner in a group of 3 teams and the first and second teams in a group of 4 teams to enter the next round (in a knockout format) to select the first, second and third place teams.

In women's volleyball, there are 35 teams divided into 11 groups including 2 groups of 4 teams and 9 groups of 3 teams.
The group stage was held at the football fields of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ethnic Minorities Committee, the Provincial Social Insurance and the Development Bank Branch.
In the group stage, the teams compete in a round robin to select the first and second place teams in groups of 4 teams; the first place teams in groups of 3 teams and the 3 best second place teams in groups of 3 teams to compete in the inner rounds (competing at Vinh City Sports Stadium in a knockout format) to select the first, second and third place teams.
At this year's tournament, the Organizing Committee will award flags, medals, and cash prizes to the first, second, and third place teams. The champion team will receive a trophy for each event.
