Launch of e-book series 'Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh era - Television chronicles'

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Le Quoc Minh said that the documentary "Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh era - Television chronicle" systematically, fully and consistently reflects the development process of the Vietnamese revolution, opening the Ho Chi Minh era, the most brilliant era in the history of the nation.

The creation of a comprehensive e-book series of the same name aims to increase the spread of the film in propagating and educating history and revolutionary traditions to the whole society, especially in schools and education systems at all levels.

The Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper hopes to continue receiving comments and feedback from readers to continue to supplement and perfect the book series in the future.

Sharing his opinion at the ceremony, comrade Thuan Huu, former Head of the Steering Committee of the Documentary Project "Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh Era - Television Chronicle" expressed his hope that the book series will have practical value, especially in teaching and learning history.

According to Director of the National Political Publishing House, Truth Pham Minh Tuan, with a coherent structure, lots of information, images, and vivid, attractive clips, the book series can be used as a useful learning and reference material for the general public, especially it can act as a valuable visual teaching aid, supporting effective learning at all levels of the education and training sector.

90 books with more than 1,000 clips

The comprehensive e-book series "Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh era - Television chronicles" was developed by the People's Documentary and Cinema Studio in collaboration with the Central Propaganda Department and the National Political Publishing House Truth, including 90 episodes corresponding to the episodes that have been broadcast.

The book series has utilized many valuable documents, materials, and information, arranged into a consistent system, becoming an independent product published on the internet. The book can be used on many electronic devices, has rich content, vivid presentation, and fully combines language, commentary, images, video clips, music, sounds, etc. from the documentary series "Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh era - Television Chronicle".

With the new presentation, the book series helps viewers and readers to choose to follow each complete event, fully incorporating cinematic language, without having to watch the entire documentary in the original version.

From the original 90 episodes, in nearly 2 years of production, the Editorial Board has added more materials to convert into more than 1,000 clips about historical events in a complete way with full images and sounds, helping the audience easily access on multiple platforms with different technical infrastructures.

During the implementation process, the Editorial Board mobilized the participation of many experts and book compilation teams of the National Political Publishing House Truth in coordination with the filmmaking team to ensure full audio, visual, and reading elements according to the criteria set for the comprehensive e-book series.

The comprehensive e-book series “Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh era - Television Chronicle” is posted on the official website http://bienniensuvietnam.vn/ to convey to the general public in order to contribute to educating the tradition of patriotism and national pride, while refuting the plots and tricks of hostile and reactionary forces, distorting the truth about revolutionary history, the Party, the State and the leaders, contributing to strengthening people's trust, creating positive spread throughout the Party and the whole society.
