(Baonghean.vn) - On the Peak Day of the 2022 Red Flamboyant Campaign, Nghe An youth simultaneously launched many programs and activities aimed at students and teachers in the province. Especially in coastal areas, remote areas and ethnic minorities.

The 2022 "Red Flamboyant" campaign in Nghe An is being implemented synchronously to promote the spirit of volunteerism and initiative of union members, young students and teachers at schools and Continuing Education Centers.

These activities contribute to creating a useful playground to help students have a healthy space to play, study and entertain. At the same time, it is an environment to educate morality, orient lifestyle, help students practice, mature and spread good values ​​in building schools, communities and society.

To implement the Campaign most effectively, from the beginning of June, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union has developed a detailed plan for all districts, towns, city unions and affiliated unions in the whole province.

Over the course of the campaign, 100% of all levels of the Youth Union have committed to effectively organizing this campaign. Since the beginning of June, the province has established nearly 90 volunteer teams to serve the campaign with more than 2,500 members and students participating in volunteer activities for the community.

During the Peak Day, high school students and Continuing Education Centers across the province carried out propaganda activities to mobilize people to participate in preserving and protecting the environment, such as not littering in public places, collecting pesticide packaging in the fields, and launching a general environmental cleanup campaign.

Activities in response to “Green Sunday”, eliminating black spots of waste, promoting the prevention of plastic waste; promoting and organizing tree planting; implementing Green - Clean - Beautiful projects; participating in renovating and dredging canals and water channels have been effectively implemented.

For young cadres and teachers at schools who have participated in organizing activities to build urban civilization and new rural areas in the area and programs to advise and guide children and students on environmental protection, waste classification at source, traffic culture, and behavioral culture.

Social security and gratitude activities such as visiting, caring for, and helping Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, former Youth Volunteers, families with revolutionary contributions, and policy families are also highly appreciated by local Party committees, authorities, and people.

At the same time, the activity "For beloved juniors" was carried out with the main contents including participating in renovating and building new playgrounds and entertainment areas for children in blocks, hamlets and villages; Mobilizing and donating to build children's bookcases; organizing reading festivals; Participating in supporting summer review for children in the area and conducting consultation and guidance sessions on preventing child abuse in the locality.

In Dien Chau district, representatives of the Provincial Youth Union and Dien Chau District Youth Union joined the union members and youth in the district to clean up Dien Hai beach; and started construction of a playground for children in Dong Phu hamlet (Dien Van commune).

In Yen Thanh district, representatives of the Provincial Youth Union and local Youth Union branches cleaned schools in Yen Thanh town; visited and presented gifts to foster children of the Union preparing to enter the new school year in Yen Thanh town and presented gifts to the free English class in Trung Thanh commune.
