Russia accuses the West of threatening the whole world.
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin condemned Western sanctions as short-sighted and posing a danger to the whole world, emphasizing that they are increasingly targeting the Asian region.
In a speech at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in the eastern city of Vladivostok, the Russian leader accused the West of undermining the global economy with its "aggressive" efforts to impose its dominance worldwide. However, President Putin also noted that the Asia-Pacific region is on an upward trajectory.

Putin said the Russian economy is coping with what he described as Western financial and technological aggression, but acknowledged difficulties in some sectors and areas.
Furthermore, President Putin stated that the United States, while pursuing its own interests, never limits itself by anything and does not hesitate to do anything to achieve its goals.
He emphasized: "And it would be no surprise if, eventually, the European business segment, both on the continent and in the global market, were taken over by American patrons. The US pursues its own interests, never limits itself to anything, and does not hesitate to do anything to achieve its goals."
President Putin also stated that almost all of Ukraine's grain exports go to EU countries, not the poorest ones.
