Thuy Van, Mai Ngoc, and Duc Bao have been nominated for the VTV Awards 2022.
Thuy Van, Mai Ngoc, Duc Bao, Tran Ngoc, Phi Linh... are among the first nominees announced in the category of Impressive Presenter/Editor at the VTV Awards 2022.
Instead of awarding prizes on the anniversary of the first television broadcast on September 7th, as in previous years, Vietnam Television (VTV) chose September 7th to launch the "VTV Impressions - VTV Awards 2022". The awards include 12 categories, and the nominees for the Most Impressive Presenter/Editor category and the Program of the Year category were also announced.
This year, the 12 categories include: Outstanding Presenter/Editor, Outstanding Male Actor, Outstanding Female Actor, Outstanding Television Series, Outstanding Documentary, Outstanding Culture and Sports Program, Outstanding Entertainment Program, Program of the Year, Promising Artist, Outstanding News Report, Inspiring Image, and Outstanding Education and Children's Program.

On the opening day, September 7, 2022, VTV announced the nominations for two categories: Program of the Year and Outstanding Presenter/Editor. The Program of the Year category had several outstanding nominees:Year-End Afternoon: "Peace", Epic of Peace, Dance of Light - Countdown 2022: The Roads, Season of Reunion 2022 - Shining Vietnam, Celebrating Tet with VTV - And Flowers Will Bloom, Meeting at the End of the Year - Táo Quân 2022, The Day of Return 2022: The Flow of Life, Spring Excursion 2022: Touching Memories, Spring Dance 2022andVietnam - Aspiration for Peace.
This year's Outstanding Presenter/Editor category features several new nominees, alongside those from previous seasons. These are familiar faces who have been associated with numerous news broadcasts and programs on VTV channels and are beloved by viewers, including runner-up Thuy Van, Mai Ngoc, Hong Nhung, Duc Bao, Tran Ngoc, Minh Hang, Phi Linh, Thuy Linh, Linh Thuy, and Lan Anh.

The Organizing Committee announced that nominations for the remaining 10 categories will be announced on September 19th, October 3rd, and October 10th. The first phase of voting for these categories on the VTVgo platform will take place from 10:00 AM on October 10th, 2022 to 12:00 PM on November 30th, 2022. The second phase of voting will run from December 1st to 15th, 2022.
The biggest change is the awards ceremony. Accordingly, the program "Happy New Year - VTV Impression Awards Ceremony 2022" will be broadcast live on the evening of January 1, 2023 on VTV1 channel.
