Also at the press conference, U20 Hong Kong (China) Coach Cheung Kin Fung expressed the team's determination and hoped the team would achieve the best results.

“We also played some friendly matches to prepare for this tournament. Hopefully, Hong Kong will perform well and get positive results,” shared the Hong Kong U20 Head Coach.

Meanwhile, coach Shin Tae Yong of host Indonesia said: “We have prepared to achieve good results and compete with the three participating teams here. The players have been training very hard towards the qualifying matches.”

The qualifying round of Group F has the participation of 4 teams including U20 Vietnam, Timor Leste, Hong Kong (China) and host Indonesia. Singapore brings its strongest squad to Vietnam

The three Fandi brothers and naturalized Korean striker Song Ui-young are on the list of 23 Singaporean players who will travel to Ho Chi Minh City to participate in a friendly tournament during FIFA Days in September.

On the afternoon of September 13, the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) announced the list of players to be called up for the two FIFA Days friendly matches against Vietnam and India. The September training session is important in the process of reviewing the squad to prepare for the AFF Cup 2022, so Head Coach Takayuki Nishigaya has called up the best players.

Half of the names on the list coming to Vietnam this time have participated in the 2020 AFF Cup at Singapore's home ground, such as center back Irfan Fandi, striker Ikhsan Fandi, naturalized striker Song Ui-young, veteran goalkeeper Hassan Sunny, Singapore defender Ryhan Stewart and experienced names like Faris Ramli and Shahdan Sulaiman.

Coach Nishigaya also gave a chance to test some new faces such as Ho Wai Loon, Glenn Kweh or Joshua Pereira, players who are attracting attention in the Singapore national championship.

Mr. Nishigaya shared: “After watching and observing the matches in the National Championship, I think I have chosen the best faces and I also want to try out new factors. The Vietnam team (ranked 98th in the world) and India (104th) are both ranked higher than Singapore (159th). Facing them is a challenge and an opportunity for us to learn before the AFF Cup 2022, the most important tournament of the year.”

With 4 AFF Cup championships in 1998, 2004, 2007 and 2012, the Singapore team used to be a force in Southeast Asian football but did not have outstanding achievements for many years. Since changing its football development strategy to focus on youth training, Singapore has gradually returned to the regional football map by reaching the semi-finals of the AFF Cup 2020 and having many players who have made a splash abroad.

The Singapore team will gather on September 19 and soon fly to Vietnam to prepare for the match against the home team on September 21.

Ronaldo will receive a "sack" of money if he leaves MU for Saudi Arabia

If he joins a club in the Saudi Arabian championship early next year, Cristiano Ronaldo will receive a salary of 2 million pounds per week, the highest in the history of world football.

Last summer, the Portuguese superstar wanted to leave Old Trafford to join a team competing in the Champions League. However, Ronaldo only received a generous offer from Saudi Arabian champions Al Hilah and their rivals Al Nassr.

Cristiano Ronaldo has not scored any goals this season.

The two Middle Eastern giants have not given up hope of signing CR7 and will return early next year if Ronaldo changes his mind. Al Hial is ready to offer the 37-year-old striker a two-year contract, with a super-huge salary of 2 million pounds/week. That means Ronaldo will become the highest-paid player in the history of world football if he moves to the "big" club of the oil country.

Cristiano Ronaldo's current contract with the Manchester club runs until June 2023. MU currently has no intention of activating the 12-month extension clause. Ronaldo himself is not satisfied with life under new coach Ten Hag. He has only started one Premier League match, starting against Real Sociedad last week. The Portuguese star's fitness and form have also declined. He often seems out of breath when accelerating and has not scored a goal since the beginning of the season.

The truth about Cong Phuong, Xuan Truong, Van Toan's contract with Hoang Anh Gia Lai has not ended

Responding to the media, Mr. Duc affirmed that the group of players with many transfer rumors such as Van Toan,Cong Phuong, Van Thanh, Hong Duy, Xuan Truong, Tuan Anh and Minh Vuong still have contracts with Hoang Anh Gia Lai. There is no story that the contract between the two sides will expire at the end of the season, even the contract "will not expire for a few more years" according to Mr. Duc.

In fact, this businessman is not just talking. Some Hoang Anh Gia Lai players received notice during the meeting last week about the contract term. Most of the students of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Arsenal JMG have 3-4 years left on their contracts with their home team. Some other players in the gifted class such as Chau Ngoc Quang and Trieu Viet Hung still have 2-3 years left on their contracts. They are on loan to Hai Phong Club for 2 years.

Van Toan still has a contract with HAGL.

Thus, according to the Bosman rule, Hoang Anh Gia Lai players will not be allowed to negotiate to sign contracts with other teams. Hoang Anh Gia Lai's board of directors also informed Cong Phuong and his teammates about this. However, the public could not help but wonder why Hoang Anh Gia Lai players seemed "very surprised" when their contracts were extended for many more years. On the contrary, some teams such as Nam Dinh, Ho Chi Minh City or Binh Dinh also did not approach transfer targets without knowing the information.

However, Mr. Duc's attention to the players he considers as family is noteworthy. Cong Phuong and Van Toan are considering leaving to find a new environment and challenges in their careers and are asking for Mr. Duc's opinion.

Up to this point, the owner of the mountain town football team has not made a specific decision. Mr. Duc wants Cong Phuong and Van Toan to stay at Hoang Anh Gia Lai for one or two more seasons.

They themselves have priority in the negotiation process with Hoang Anh Gia Lai. But with the new developments at the present time, it is likely that if Van Toan and Cong Phuong leave Hoang Anh Gia Lai, it will be under the name of loan contracts with other teams in the V-League. The future of 10 players whose youth training contracts expire at the end of this season will be decided by Mr. Duc.
