Support 5 billion VND to build school in Ky Son
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 22, the Vietnam Children's Fund and the sponsoring unit, in coordination with Ky Son district, organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a classroom-cum-dormitory and auxiliary items at Bao Thang Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.
Bao Thang Commune is a remote area of Ky Son District, with 100% of the Kho Mu ethnic group living there. Bao Thang Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities has 483 students, of which 218 are boarding students.
Currently, the school's level 4 building is degraded and does not ensure the students' study and boarding. In order to care for and help children of ethnic minorities in mountainous areas, the Vietnam Children's Fund and sponsors have supported 5 billion VND to build a classroom and boarding house for Bao Thang Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.

The project has a total construction area of nearly 350 m2consists of 2 floors, the 1st floor has 12 rooms for boarding students, the 2nd floor has 6 classrooms and other auxiliary items.
The project is expected to be completed and put into use after 6 months of construction./.
