Through checking the preparation work,Provincial Military CommandUnits are required to strictly maintain the on-duty and command regime, ensure communication, maintain the number of troops on duty at the unit; proactively monitor and grasp the situation; develop, adjust and supplement plans, schemes and directive documents on disaster prevention, control and search and rescue.

Along with that, ensure the safety of the barracks, warehouses, construction works in the unit and prepare well the forces, facilities, food and provisions ready to mobilize to help people rescue and overcome the consequences caused by storms; coordinate with forces to organize search and rescue, overcome the consequences of possible floods.

Units must always proactively monitor and grasp the storm's developments; promptly deploy forces and means to respond according to the "4 on-site" motto. Depending on the storm's developments and the specific situation of each locality, they should advise the Party Committee and the government, closely coordinate with departments, branches and organizations in the work of evacuating people, notifying and calling for ships, planning evacuation areas, evacuating people from dangerous and flooded areas, in order to minimize damage to people and property caused by storm No. 4.
