Vinh Airport resumes operations from noon on September 28
(Baonghean.vn) - After determining that weather conditions are suitable for flight operations, and that vehicles, equipment, and infrastructure are in normal operating conditions, Vinh Airport officially reopened earlier than expected.
The Northern Airports Authority has just issued Decision No. 312/QD/CVMB on reopening operations.Vinh Airport.
Accordingly, reopening time starts from 12 noon on September 28 (local time).

Reason for reopening: Weather conditions ensure operations for flights, vehicles, equipment and infrastructure ensure normal operating conditions.
Thus, the reopening time of Vinh Airport is 4 hours earlier than expected. Previously, due to the impact of storm Noru, the Northern Airport Authority decided to temporarily close Vinh Airport from 3:00 to 16:00 on September 28.
Currently, passengers with tickets at Vinh Airport can arrange to go to the airport to depart within the announced time.
Previously, 10 airports nationwide had to temporarily close to avoid storm Noru, including: Chu Lai (Quang Nam), Da Nang, Phu Bai (Thua Thien Hue), Phu Cat (Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh), Pleiku (Gia Lai), Vinh (Nghe An), Dong Hoi (Quang Binh), Tuy Hoa (Phu Yen), Buon Ma Thuot (Dak Lak), Lien Khuong (Lam Dong). Currently, the airports have adjusted their reopening times to suit the actual situation after storm Noru passed, serving the needs of passengers.
