Man electrocuted to death while repairing pump

On September 28, the leader of the People's Committee of Dong Van commune, Tan Ky district informed that an electric shock accident had just occurred in the commune, killing one person.death.
The victim was Mr. NVH (born 1963), residing in Dong Tam hamlet, Dong Van commune, Tan Ky district.
Initial information, at around 12:10 on September 28, unable to sleep, Mr. H. got up and went to his family's pigsty to pump water to bathe the pigs. However, while pumping water, the pump broke down. Mr. H. was trying to fix the pump when he was unfortunately electrocuted and fell next to the pigsty.
His family discovered him and took him to Tan Ky District Medical Center for emergency treatment, but he was pronounced dead before that.
After the incident, local authorities visited, encouraged and sympathized with the family.
