(Baonghean.vn) - Leaders of Tan Ky district directly went to the scene of the landslide and rockfall that caused traffic congestion in Tan Long commune to inspect and direct the work to overcome the consequences.

In the early morning of September 29, heavy rain caused a landslide at Eo Len slope, Tan Long hamlet, Tan Long commune, Tan Ky district. The mass of rock and soil was over 300m.3spilled onto the road, causing traffic congestion on a stretch of more than 100m on National Highway 48E. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Currently, the leaders of Tan Ky district have directed the functional forces to arrange vehicles and machinery to clear the landslide scene; organize road blocks, not allowing people to travel; organize the evacuation of people and property of 5 households in the landslide-prone area at the foot of the mountain.

Because the block of rock and soil blocking the road is very large, the Nghe An Department of Transport and Tan Ky district are looking for the optimal solution to fix it, in order to clear the road as soon as possible, ensuring safety for the people.
