Provincial Labor Federation supports union members and workers affected by storms and floods
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to share the difficulties with union members, workers and people in the province, the Provincial Labor Federation has promptly drawn from the flood and storm prevention fund to provide emergency support to groups and individuals affected by flooding caused by storm No. 4.
Due to the influencestorm number 4Internationally known as Noru, many places in the province were flooded, causing great damage to property, crops and human lives.
Among many pitiful situations, the situation of Mr. Nguyen Van Ai (born in 1984) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan (born in 1985) residing in Hamlet 2, Nghi Lam Commune, Nghi Loc District, makes everyone heartbroken. On September 29, on the way home from a medical examination, Mr. Ai and Ms. Lan were swept away by floodwaters. Their family situation was already difficult, both of them did not have stable jobs, and now they suddenly passed away, leaving behind 3 young children.

Faced with the tragic situation of Mr. Ai and Ms. Lan, the working delegation led by Mr. Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation visited, encouraged and provided support to Mr. Ai and Ms. Lan's three children. Accordingly, the eldest child, Nguyen Quoc Anh (born in 2011, in grade 6), Nguyen Ty Hy (born in 2015, in grade 2) and Nguyen Thi My Tien (born in 2016, in grade 1) received a support amount of 3 million VND.
Visiting and offering condolences to the family, comrade Kha Van Tam shared the family's pain and encouraged the children to overcome the loss and stabilize their spirits to continue studying and growing up.
Previously, the Women's Union of Nghi Loc District Labor Federation coordinated with the District Women's Union and the Women's Union of the District Party Committee and the residential block agency to agree to donate to sponsor one of the three children with a support level of VND 3,600,000/year, within 4 years from 2022 to 2026.

Also this morning, the Provincial Labor Federation presented 10 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quynh Luu district to support union members and workers affected by floods in the area. At the same time, the union directly supported Quynh Hong Kindergarten, which suffered heavy damage due to floods, with 5 million VND and 2 union members who are grassroots union staff of Giat Market Management Board with 2 million VND/person.
Previously, on the afternoon of September 30, the Quynh Luu District Labor Federation also deployed support activities for families in difficult circumstances who suffered losses due to the disaster.floods.

Specifically, the District Trade Union and union members of Cau Giat Primary School supported necessities, cooked and brought meals to each house for colleagues who were flooded and could not cook or have drinking water... Today, this meaningful activity is still being implemented.
