(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, promoting the spirit of mutual love and support of the province's youth towards the people in the flood-hit areas, on October 4, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union visited, encouraged and presented 100 million VND to support the people of Ky Son to overcome the consequences of the flood.

In order to join hands to help people in Ky Son district overcome the consequences of flash floods and soon stabilize their lives, union members and young people in the province have donated 100 million VND, of which 60 million VND was donated directly at the Provincial Youth Union Congress. This is a practical act demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other" of Nghe An youth joining hands to share and support people affected by natural disasters. The working delegation visited and encouraged the family of Ms. Va Y Do (Son Ha village, Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district). Ms. Va Y Do's family is in a very difficult situation. Her husband is working as a worker in Binh Duong province, so during the recent flash flood, only she, her 4-month-old daughter and 11-year-old grandson were at home. When the flood came, her house was destroyed by the floodwaters, sweeping away all her property and her 4-month-old daughter. Understanding that pain, comrade Le Van Luong and representatives of Ky Son District Youth Union promptly shared and supported her family with 3 million VND to help the family overcome the consequences when the flood passed. Currently, the Youth Union branches in the localities affected by the recent floods have also quickly established Youth Volunteer Teams to respond quickly to clean up public works. At the same time, they have visited the homes of poor households, families with meritorious services, and families whose relatives died in the recent floods to share, support, and encourage them. This is the heart of Nghe An youth sent to the people in the flooded areas with the desire to encourage and accompany them to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
