Hoang Mai Town Small and Medium Enterprises Association held the 2nd Congress, launched a campaign to support flood victims

Attending the congress were comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Chairman of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of Nghe An province, representatives of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry VCCI Nghe An branch, Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone, leaders of Hoang Mai town and more than 200 enterprises in the area.

Hoang Mai Town Small and Medium Enterprises Association was established on September 12, 2014 under Decision No. 4462 of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, as a social-professional organization, gathering and representing organizations and enterprises in Hoang Mai Town to protect the legitimate rights and interests of members, support each other in production and business activities, and create motivation for the development of the business community in Hoang Mai Town.

With the goal of "Business prosperity, Hoang Mai development", the Association has worked with the government and people of Hoang Mai town to accelerate economic development and urbanization, contributing to the socio-economic development in the area.

According to the report, the total revenue of Hoang Mai town enterprises in the last 3 years reached about 9,566 billion VND, the amount of tax paid in the 8 years since establishment was 326 billion VND.

Some typical tax-paying enterprises include Hoang Mai Cement Company, Hoa Sen Nghe An One Member Co., Ltd., Thanh Cong Co., Ltd., Thai An Thanh Co., Ltd., Long Thanh Joint Stock Company, Hoang Mai Medical Co., Ltd....

In addition to economic development, social security work, support for Covid-19 prevention, volunteer activities, and new rural construction, local businesses actively participate.

The Congress approved the results of the first consultation to elect the Executive Committee and the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises for the 2022-2027 term, including 7 members.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi - Chairman of the Board of Members and Director of Hoang Mai Medical Company Limited was elected by the congress as Chairman of the Association.

In the coming term, the Association determines to build a strong, dynamic and creative association, effective production and business, build corporate culture, protect the legitimate rights of enterprises, have close relationships with localities and local agencies, in order to create favorable relationships, promote the business community in the whole town to continuously develop and grow.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 7 individual enterprises with outstanding achievements in the past term.

Also in the program, the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of Hoang Mai town donated and provided 50 million VND in support to people in flood-affected areas to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
