Nghe An receives over 23.2 billion VND in donations to help people overcome the effects of floods and heavy rains.
(Baonghean.vn) - The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province has received more than 23.2 billion VND from organizations and individuals to support people in flood-affected areas and overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
According to a preliminary report from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, as of 5 PM on October 18th, 8,136 organizations and individuals had registered and contributed to relief efforts through the provincial relief fund, with a total amount exceeding 26.3 billion VND.

The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has received over 23.2 billion VND in funding, including over 1.4 billion VND in cash donations, over 17.2 billion VND in bank transfers, and nearly 4.6 billion VND given directly to the people. In addition, localities and units have pledged over 3 billion VND in donations. From October 2nd to the present, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has allocated 34.6 billion VND in emergency aid to help people in affected areas overcome natural disasters.
