More than 500 athletes attend the traditional Sports Festival of the Education sector
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 21, at Ethnic Boarding High School No. 2, the Department of Education and Training and the Education Trade Union jointly organized the Opening Ceremony of the 9th Traditional Sports Festival of the Education Sector.
This is a meaningful activity to practically celebrate the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2022) and welcomeTrade Union Congressall levels for the 2023 - 2028 term.

The Sports Festival is a practical activity to encourage and promote the movement of physical training and competition in agencies, units and schools; it is a good opportunity to create conditions for cadres, teachers and workers in units and schools to meet, exchange experiences, understand and learn from each other.

This is also a playground for cadres, teachers, workers and grassroots unions to exchange sports with the motto "healthy and happy", contributing to the good implementation of the political tasks of the agency and unit, building a happy and healthy lifestyle in schools, improving health for good teaching and work.
The good organization of the sports festival also aims to continue to effectively carry out the campaigns "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and "Stay healthy to build and protect the Fatherland".

Before that, in preparation for the industry-wide sports festival, the districts organized cluster-level sports festivals to select excellent athletes to participate in the final round of the sports festival.

Sports59 teams with nearly 510 athletes representing more than 53,000 officials, teachers and workers in the industry participated in the finals of the following sports: women's volleyball, men's volleyball and badminton.
