Nghe An: Police invite many people in the clip of female student being beaten up to question
(Baonghean.vn) - Through investigation, just because of a small conflict at a birthday party, a 7th grade female student was beaten by a group of people for 2 consecutive nights.
On October 26, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Minh Son - Chief of Que Phong District Police said that the police agency had invited many female secondary school students involved in the case to work.The fight and the video clip posted on social media happened in Thong Thu commune.The police have taken statements from the female students under the supervision of their parents.
"Based on the children's initial statements, the cause stemmed from very minor conflicts at a birthday party," said Lieutenant Colonel Son.

Meanwhile, the Department of Education and Training of Que Phong district also sent a quick report related to this incident to the District People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training.
According to this report, on the evening of October 21, Ha Thi Phuong Ng. (grade 7, in Na Luom village, Thong Thu commune) held a birthday party. The birthday party invited many friends, including Lo Thi Ngoc Th. (grade 9), Ha Thi Mong V. (grade 7) and Lang Thi Yen Ng. (grade 9). Among them, Yen Ng. is a female student of Dong Van Secondary School, the rest are students of Thong Thu Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.
While attending the party, Mong V. had a conflict with a friend of the birthday party host. When the party ended, the group went to Nam Piet Bridge to play. There, Mong V. was slapped in the face and kicked by Phuong Ng., Ngoc Th. and Yen Ng. A while later, a male student passing by saw this and intervened, taking the victim home.
However, a day later, around 10pm on October 22, the group of three female students continued to go to Mong V.'s house and dragged her to Nam Piet Bridge. There, after forcing Mong V. to apologize, the three female students pulled her hair, slapped her, and kicked her face and body many times. They also used their phones to record the beating. A few days later, this clip appeared on Facebook.
The Department of Education and Training of Que Phong district said that after receiving the information, the unit directed Dong Van Secondary School and Thong Thu Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities to coordinate with the police to investigate, verify and handle the case. Currently, the case is being directly handled by the Thong Thu Commune Police Department.
The schools have also worked with the students and parents involved to understand the cause of the incident and inform the parents to coordinate the handling. Thong Thu Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities has visited and encouraged the beaten student. Currently, the beaten student is psychologically stable, although he still has bruises on both cheeks and a slightly red eye on one side.
