In Vietnam, the small urban SUV segment is still quite new, currently there are only 2 models Toyota Raize and Kia Sonet in this segment. Before coming to Vietnam, the duo "made waves" in many markets such as Japan, India and Indonesia and were always out of stock.
Recently, when officially launched in Vietnam, the two models Toyota Raize and Kia Sonet are gradually proving their appeal in this segment, especially when the A-class hatchback segment in Vietnam is gradually lacking "best-selling" names.
Currently, in the Asian market in general, the small urban SUV segment is becoming more diverse from many car manufacturers, including prominent names such as Toyota Raize, Kia Sonet, Daihatsu Rocky, Hyundai Venue, Suzuki Ignis, Tata Punch, Perodua Ativa, Hyundai Casper.
The presence of the 2023 Honda WR-V model in the Indonesian market will add a new name to this growing segment. Accordingly, the car is distributed in 3 versions: 1.5 E, 1.5 RS and 1.5 RS Honda Sensing. The listed price ranges from 271.9 - 309.9 million Rupiah (about 432 - 492 million VND).
It is known that the 2023 Honda WR-V model has overall dimensions of length x width x height of 4,060 x 1,780 x 1,608 mm and a wheelbase of 2,485 mm.
In particular, the high-end version of the 2023 Honda WR-V will be equipped with the Honda Sensing active safety technology package with features such as: CMBS collision mitigation braking, LKAS lane keeping assist, RDM lane departure mitigation, automatic headlights, adaptive cruise control system and warning when the vehicle ahead departs.
In terms of operation, the 2023 Honda WR-V is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, producing a maximum capacity of 121 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. The engine is combined with a CVT automatic transmission.
