Man arrested for 'pervert' who attacked numerous female students.
The suspect who used iron pipes and iron rods to attack several female students has been arrested by law enforcement.
Hanoi police announced that they have arrested suspect NV Huy (born in 1991 in Chuong Duong ward, Hoan Kiem district; currently residing in Ngoc Thuy ward, Long Bien district, Hanoi) to investigate a series of incidents involving the use of weapons to attack people on the street.public confusionrecently.
On the evening of November 2nd, two ninth-grade female students were cycling home from extra classes when, upon reaching Hoang Nhu Tiep Street in Bo De Ward, Long Bien District, a suspect on a motorbike overtook them and used a fluorescent light to strike the outermost female student in the face, causing her to fall onto the road.
After committing the crime, the suspect fled towards the Long Bien dike. The victim suffered a broken nose and was taken to the hospital by local residents and family members.

Upon receiving the information, the Long Bien District Police initially created a profile of the suspect and tracked the individual's movements to the Hoan Kiem and Hai Ba Trung districts.
In addition to the incident in Bo De ward, on the afternoon of November 3rd, a third-year female university student sitting on the sidewalk at the intersection of Hang Bai and Dinh Tien Hoang streets in Trang Tien ward, Hoan Kiem district, was also attacked by a suspect who drove onto the sidewalk and struck her in the face with an iron rod with nails attached, causing eye injuries.
On November 4th, in the Vincom Ba Trieu area, Thai Phien Street, Le Dai Hanh Ward, Hai Ba Trung District (Hanoi), another incident occurred where two women were attacked with a knife by an unknown assailant.
Expanding the investigation, the police clarified that in October, the suspect also committed a series of other attacks using weapons such as knives, sticks, and light bulbs… including an incident where he used a knife to slash the throat and violently cut the back of a woman's neck in Nghia Tan ward, Cau Giay district. Fortunately, all victims were not in life-threatening condition.
The swift investigation and arrest of the suspect was deemed urgent and necessary, so after receiving the case files, the Hanoi City Police quickly tracked down and apprehended the suspect.

This individual has two prior convictions, recently released from prison, and shows no signs of mental illness or other pathological symptoms, but has a habit of attacking women with weapons in a thuggish manner.
