Nghe An Newspaper won Third Prize in the National Press Award 'For the Cause of Vietnamese Education' in 2022

(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Newspaper has 01 work that won the Third Prize of the National Press Award "For the Cause of Vietnam Education", which is the work "Teachers in remote areas - Stories now".

On the morning of November 9, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Education and Training coordinated with the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and the Vietnam Journalists Association to organize the National Press Awards Ceremony "For the Cause of Vietnam's Education" in 2022. Attending the ceremony were representatives of leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and authors from press agencies with award-winning works.

The National Press Award “For the Cause of Vietnamese Education” is a national press award organized annually by the Ministry of Education and Training in coordination with the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and the Vietnam Journalists Association. The Education and Times Newspaper is the standing agency.

The award is held to honor authors with many excellent journalistic works about their careers.education; about typical groups and individuals who have made many contributions to the education career.

In its 5th year, the Award has affirmed its position and prestige among the national press awards. Over the years, not only has the quantity of works increased but the quality has also been improved, demonstrating the authors' dedication and creativity to the education sector.

In 2022, the number of works in all four categories (print, electronic, radio and television) sent to the Organizing Committee was more than 800 works with the participation of many press agencies from the Central to the local level. Notably, the number of award-winning works from localities has also increased significantly compared to previous years.

After a rigorous selection process, 80 works were selected for the final round. From these works, the Final Round Council proposed 1 special prize; 4 first prizes; 8 second prizes; 12 third prizes, 28 consolation prizes and commendations.2 typical characters in 2 award-winning works.

Participating in the National Press Award "For the cause of Vietnamese Education", Nghe An Newspaper had 01 work winning Third Prize, which is the work "Teachers in remote areas - Stories of the present" by the group of authors: Hoang Thi My Ha, Nguyen Tien Hung, Nguyen Thanh Chung, Nguyen Ky Duc Anh.
