North Korea stated that this was an "unfair and inaccurate" claim regarding the nature of its missile launches – actions taken solely in self-defense in response to provocations by the US and South Korean militaries.
Earlier this weekend (November 4), UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres strongly condemned North Korea's recent missile launches and called on Pyongyang to immediately refrain from any further provocative actions, or face corresponding retaliatory measures.
