Central Youth Union trains 200 Nghe An Youth Union officials on poverty reduction propaganda
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 11, in Vinh city, the Central Youth Union coordinated with Nghe An Provincial Youth Union to open the Conference "Training to improve capacity for cadres doing propaganda work on poverty reduction" for 200 cadres of Nghe An Youth Union.

This is a program to concretize Plan No. 541a - KH/TWĐTN-BTG dated June 27, 2022 of the Central Secretariat of the Youth Union on "Organizing activities to implement the Information Communication and Poverty Reduction Project in 2022 under theNational Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the 2021 - 2025 period".
Speaking at the opening of the training program, Mr. Nguyen Huu Ngoc - Deputy Head of the Central Youth Union's Propaganda Department said that in recent times, the Central Youth Union has coordinated with many ministries, branches and central agencies to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction. Including the Information Communication and Poverty Reduction Project under the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021-2025.

Based on the project objectives and the process of studying vivid practices nationwide, the Central Youth Union has developed training contents aimed at Youth Union cadres and youth union members to improve the effectiveness of propaganda in this field. In particular, in the current context, Nghe An is one of the provinces with the highest number of poor and near-poor households in the country.
Through the training program, he hopes that the Nghe An Youth Union officials - those who are directly working with local Party committees and authorities to participate in poverty reduction at the grassroots level - will improve the effectiveness of propaganda work in this field. How to effectively implement the core goal of raising awareness, will and aspiration to escape poverty of the people.

The training program will take place over 2 days, November 11-12, with 5 topics. In particular, the key topics are related to the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021 - 2025 and the Information Communication and Poverty Reduction Project in 2022 under the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021 - 2025. Poverty reduction policies in Nghe An province; information poverty reduction work in ethnic minority areas in the digital age.
