Nhu Quynh wears traditional costume to show off her elegant beauty at the age of 52

The traditional costume photoshoot is one of Nhu Quynh's special experiments during this trip back to the country. Despite her busy schedule preparing for the live show on the evening of November 12, the overseas singer tried to make time for new things.

Nhu Quynh shows her noble aura when wearing the Nhat Binh dress, reminiscent of the image of the mother of the Nguyen Dynasty.

The singer said she came to the photo shoot with a relaxed and curious mind because she didn’t know what the crew had prepared for her. She was very excited about the outfits with beautiful shapes, many sophisticated color combinations, and meticulous tailoring.

The representative of the unit supporting the costumes for Nhu Quynh said that these costumes were restored in the style of Vietnamese fashion in the 19th and 20th centuries. These are all forms of costumes worn by upper-class women in the three regions of the North, Central and South on formal occasions.

In another look, Nhu Quynh becomes gentle with a conical hat and a five-panel dress, reminiscent of the image of the Bac Ninh quan ho sisters.

"The traditional costumes are beautiful. The young people took good care of me, creating a lot of excitement for me during the photoshoot," Nhu Quynh shared during her first time wearing traditional costumes. The female singer felt a bit regretful that she could not bring these types of costumes to this live show. Instead, she continued to wear the ao dai by designer Viet Hung as she has for many years.

This time, Nhu Quynh did not have much time at home. She devoted almost all her time and spirit to the live show. Seeing the enthusiasm of her colleagues Hong Dao, Manh Dinh, Tran Thanh, and To My when practicing for the live show, she was moved because she felt very loved.

Over the past few years, Nhu Quynh has frequently flown back and forth between the US and Vietnam. She has organized many mini shows in tea rooms to "measure" the interest of domestic audiences in her and also to find out what the audience wants.

Along with the live show "The Best of Như Quỳnh", she will release a new album. The physical version will be released on the same night. After the live show, Như Quỳnh will return to the US to perform during the Thanksgiving holiday. In December, she plans to spend a lot of time in Vietnam. On Christmas Eve, she will sing in Hanoi, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the hit "Winter Lover".
