Like a "miracle"

Patients with hemangioma, especially children, have to endure many disadvantages and barriers due to social stigma. “Dream for children” becomes a meaningful bridge, bringing the opportunity to be detected and treated in the right direction; a brighter future for the less fortunate patients.

The program "Dream for Children" season 1 was held in April 2021. The Department of Plastic Surgery not only successfully treated hundreds of children and patients with congenital hemangioma in difficult circumstances, but also spread widely to a large number of people in Nghe An province and the North Central region.

In the program “Dream for Children” season 2, the lucky patients who were successfully treated in season 1 had the opportunity to share their joy and happiness when they “escaped” their congenital disease like a “miracle”.

Baby BA (15 months old), has had a hemangioma since birth, but the family does not fully understand the disease and does not have the means to treat it. Luckily, when they learned about the program "Dream for Children", the baby's mother registered to participate and received the opportunity to support 50% of the cost of treatment for her child.

Ms. NTL (BA's mother) shared: "When I came to the Department of Plastic Surgery, my child had a large, raised hemangioma on his neck. Now, after nearly a year, thanks to the dedicated support of the doctors at the Orthopedic Trauma Hospital and treatment with modern technology, the birthmark on my child's neck has completely faded. The family is extremely happy and more assured that our child has been cured and is developing normally like other children of the same age."

Mr. H.D.L. (48 years old) in Hung Nguyen has a congenital hemangioma with a serious condition. He said that having lived with the disease for decades, he never thought that one day he would be cured. Luckilyafter 2 years of treatment with technologyVbeam Laser,Modern technology is painless and does not affect daily life and activities; His condition has improved by 80%".

Mr. L's sharing has brought faith, optimism and motivation to patients with this disease to overcome difficulties to successfully treat the disease, be confident and happy in life.

This is the most modern and advanced technology in the world, the "gold standard" in the treatment of hemangioma and hemangioma today, and has recorded successful treatment for thousands of patients with hemangioma and hemangioma in the province and region.
