Nghe An: Ensuring uninterrupted fuel supply

According to a report from the Nghe An Market Management Department, inspections and monitoring conducted recently have revealed the following:fuel supplyThere were localized disruptions at certain times and in certain areas across the province, but there were no instances of businesses closing or ceasing operations.

To promptly assess the fuel supply situation, on the afternoon of November 14th, the Nghe An Market Management Department held a meeting with fuel supply businesses in the area, including Nghe An Petroleum Company, Petrolimex Nghe Tinh Transport and Service Joint Stock Company, Thien Minh Duc Group Joint Stock Company (Vinh City), and Tien Nhat Trading and Service Joint Stock Company (Cua Lo Town). These fuel businesses shared that, despite supply difficulties, their operations remain adequate at this time.

At Nghe An Petroleum Company, Mr. Nguyen Sy Van, Chairman and Director, stated that the company is still able to supply 32,000-33,000 cubic meters of gasoline and diesel per month. Currently, the company is continuing negotiations with partners to import an additional 20% more gasoline and diesel for Nghe An province. Mr. Nguyen Sy Van said that some gas stations in the area are experiencing shortages, but these are only localized and temporary. The supply will be adjusted within the day at the latest, and efforts will be made to ensure timely delivery of gasoline and diesel to retail outlets.

The leaders of Petrolimex Nghe Tinh Transport and Services Joint Stock Company stated: Although domestic gasoline and diesel supplies are limited and the company's operations are facing many difficulties, the company will strive to meet the fuel needs in the province...

Mr. Nguyen Van Huong, Director of the Nghe An Market Management Department, added: Currently, there is no shortage of gasoline and diesel fuel in Nghe An province. Local shortages in some areas are quickly resolved to promptly serve the people.

The Market Management Department, in coordination with the Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade, worked with key distribution businesses to ensure a sufficient and timely supply of goods to stores within their systems.

At the same time, the Department will continue to coordinate with Border Guard and Customs forces operating on sea routes and sea areas to inspect and monitor the sea areas of gasoline stations; coordinate with local authorities to closely monitor the sale of gasoline and diesel at retail stations in the area, preventing the situation of stopping sales without reason as prescribed.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade's report, major distributors are currently ensuring a supply of 58,000-62,000 m3/month, specifically: Nghe An Petroleum Company supplies approximately 32,000-33,000 m3 of gasoline and diesel per month; Thien Minh Duc Group Joint Stock Company supplies approximately 20,000-22,000 m3 of gasoline and diesel per month; and other distributors supply approximately 6,000-7,000 m3 of gasoline and diesel per month.
