Nghe An fellow countrymen in Hanoi meet on Vietnamese Teachers' Day
(Baonghean.vn) - The meeting is a place to exchange and enhance mutual understanding, as well as honor teachers and the brand of Nghe An homeland in the capital Hanoi.
On the afternoon of November 18, the Nghe An Association in Hanoi held a ceremony to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day. The ceremony was an intimate meeting place for outstanding teachers from Nghe An who are living and working in the capital city of Hanoi.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Le Doan Hop - former Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, former Minister of Information and Communications, Chairman of Nghe An Association in Hanoi; Mr. Ta Quang Ngoc - former Minister of Fisheries; Mr. Tran Van Hang - former Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly; Mr. Nguyen The Ky - Chairman of the Central Council for Theory and Criticism of Literature and Arts; Mr. Ho Xuan Hung - former Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, former Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; Mr. Hoang Xuan Luong - former Standing Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, former Deputy Minister and Vice Chairman of the Ethnic Committee...

On the side of Nghe An province, there were Professor, Doctor Thai Van Thanh - Director of the Department of Education and Training; Mr. Vo Van Dung - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.
The ceremony was attended by nearly 100 delegates who are Meritorious Teachers, People's Teachers, Professors and Associate Professors living and working in Hanoi.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Chairman of the Nghe An Association in Hanoi Le Doan Hop reviewed the tradition of "respecting teachers" of teachers in the province as well as in Hanoi and expressed gratitude to the teachers who have worked hard to cultivate and promote the tradition of studiousness, educating many generations of students to help the homeland develop as it is today. Mr. Hop said that the meeting is a place to exchange and enhance mutual understanding, honor teachers, and the brand of Nghe An homeland in the capital Hanoi.

Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh expressed his gratitude to the Nghe An Association in Hanoi for organizing the meeting. “The children of Nghe An have always been responsible, enthusiastic, dedicated, constantly innovating and contributing to the cause of education development in general and of the province in particular.
