Top 10 most and least reliable car models of 2022
The Toyota Corolla Hybrid has the highest reliability rating, followed closely by another Japanese car, the Lexus GX.
Based on the annual automotive survey byConsumer Reports(CR) The following 10 car models are the most reliable products on the US market. This result is based on feedback from owners of over 300,000 vehicles from 2000-2022 over the past 12 months.
The survey questions were based on 17 common problem areas of a car, such as the engine, transmission, electrical system, and bodywork. The fewer problems a car has, the higher its reliability, as reflected in its score.

Leading the rankings is the Toyota Corolla Hybrid with 93 points, and besides this product, the Japanese automaker also has three other models in the top 10: the Prius and Prius Prime duo, along with the gasoline version of the Corolla Hybrid. That's not including the Lexus GX, which ranks in second place.

In total, there are 7 Japanese car models in the top 10. Besides products from the Toyota Group, there is one Mazda and one Subaru. The rest of the ranking consists of two German cars and one American car.
Along with a list of the most reliable car models,CRThey also published the products with the lowest reliability ratings.

Accordingly, the lowest score also went to a hybrid model: the Ford F-150 Hybrid, with only 4 points. And there were two purely electric models on the list: the Hyundai Kona Electric in second place and the Chevrolet Bolt in sixth.
Of the 10 cars with the lowest reliability scores, 7 are American models, with 1 from Korea, 1 from Japan, and 1 from Germany. Furthermore, 8 of them are SUVs.
