(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 21, comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council met with voters in Thanh Duc commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Meeting with voters were Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Huyen - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Dai Dong commune, a delegate of the Provincial People's Council in Thanh Chuong district and delegates of the People's Council of Thanh Chuong district elected in Thanh Duc commune.

Attending the meeting with voters, on the side of Thanh Chuong district, there were comrade Nguyen Hai Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee and representatives of the district People's Committee, departments and professional offices of Thanh Chuong district.

At the Conference, on behalf of the Provincial People's Council delegates, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Huyen reported to voters the expected content and agenda of the 11th session (the year-end session) of the Provincial People's Council, summarized the socio-economic situation in 2022 and reported the results of resolving voters' petitions before, during and after the 7th session of the Provincial People's Council. The representative of the District People's Council delegate also reported on the year-end session of the District People's Council.

The conference received 13 voters expressing their opinions and recommendations. Many of them were related to the investment in building the road from Ho Chi Minh road to the Youth Volunteer Corps. Mr. Bui Gia Hao, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Cat Van commune, representing voters of the commune, reflected that National Highway 46C from Phong Thinh commune to Cat Van commune had been completed for 2 years, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the communes. However, the ditches along both sides of the road were still dirt ditches, causing water stagnation and flooding during heavy rains. He recommended surveying and building fixed concrete ditches to avoid flooding. In addition, Mr. Hao recommended that the province allocate funds to maintain more than 6 km of degraded asphalt roads in Cat Van commune.

Mr. Hoang Tien Tho, Chairman of Thanh My Commune People's Committee, reported that recently there have been two major floods, affecting the lives of people in Thanh My Commune. According to people's observations, the long riverbank area from Hanh Lam Commune to Thanh My Commune is low and sunken, which is the main cause of flooding. He proposed that the Provincial People's Committee direct the review and construction of a dike road from Hanh Lam to Thanh My to prevent flooding in Thanh My area. Ms. Le Thi Minh, Duc Thinh Hamlet, Thanh Duc Commune proposed that the Provincial People's Committee consult with hydropower plants to regulate the water in the reservoir appropriately and choose the time to release water to limit flooding and damage to downstream areas.

Regarding the conversion of farmland, Mr. Tran Quang Dai, Suong hamlet and Mr. Tran Dinh Kien, Tong Doi hamlet, Thanh Duc commune proposed to speed up the process of granting certificates of forestry land use rights for farmland previously transferred to local management so that people can feel secure in managing, using, and developing farm economy. Voters also proposed a policy of purchasing raw tea so that people can feel secure in production, especially to avoid the situation of supply exceeding demand as in the current period.

Regarding the regime and policies, voter Nguyen Van Nuoi, ​​hamlet C3, Thanh Duc commune, reported that he previously served in the army for 4 years and worked for a forestry company for 16 years. He submitted documents and completed procedures to request social insurance benefits, but to date, they have not been resolved.

In addition, voters reflected and made recommendations on issues related to the granting of land use right certificates for cases of unauthorized land sales; degraded and weak power lines; settlement of social insurance regimes, policies for people with revolutionary contributions; organization of extra classes in schools; allowance regimes for non-professional activists in hamlets, and the arrangement and assignment of civil servant positions in communes...

On behalf of the delegates of the Provincial People's Council, Comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, informed voters about some contents of the activities of the Provincial People's Council. In 2022, the Provincial People's Council will organize 07 sessions, including 02 regular sessions (the regular session at the end of the year is expected from December 7 to 9) and 05 thematic sessions to solve urgent problems, meeting the time requirements to solve the tasks and tasks of socio-economic development of the province, especially the organization and implementation of three National Target Programs. He also informed about some outstanding socio-economic results of the province this year, notably the highest growth rate since 2011, budget revenue exceeding the estimate, good investment and business environment, etc.

In response to voters' recommendations on transport infrastructure, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council said that the province always pays attention to the issue of developing transport infrastructure, however, the management of public investment according to the 5-year medium-term public investment program stipulated in the Law on Public Investment, focuses on key and weak projects for effective investment, avoiding dispersion.
