17 people pool money to buy a house to watch the World Cup together
17 residents of Mundakkamugal village (Kochi, Kerala state, India) pooled money to buy a house worth 2.3 million rupees (equivalent to about 700 million VND) to watch World Cup matches together.
According to ANI, the fan group decorated the house with flags of the 32 national teams participating in the World Cup, along with portraits of football stars like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. A large-screen TV was installed in the house so everyone could watch the match together.

Before buying the house, the group had established a unique tradition of watching football matches together, and they have been doing so for the past 15-20 years. “In the future, we hope our children and grandchildren will also continue this habit. In addition, we will also invite guests here to watch football together,” Shefeer PA said.
After the World Cup ends, the house will be used by the group to organize social activities, sporting events...
