A representative of Dong Hop Forestry said: Immediately after the incident on November 22, the relevant sector inspected the scene and discovered that at lots 7, 8, 9, compartment 8, sub-area 268, Tan Thanh hamlet, Tam Hop commune, Quy Hop district, bad guys had destroyed the acacia garden by cutting down close to the base and across the trunk with a quantity of 1,236 acacia trees.

This is a 70/30 joint venture forest area for growing raw materials between Dong Hop Forestry Farm and 3 households, including Mr. Bui Xuan Lien, Mr. Bui Van Kien, and Mr. Bui Van Ky, all in Tan Thanh hamlet, Tam Hop commune.

This is a planted forest on Dong Hop forestry land planted with hybrid acacia trees planted in May 2022. Currently, the tree has an average height of about 3.0m, the root diameter is 3-5cm, the damage value is about 30 million VND.

Immediately after discovering the incident, Dong Hop Forestry cooperated with households to contribute capital to plant forests, and immediately reported to the local authorities and relevant departments and agencies in the area.
