Russian Defense Ministry announces killing of '100 foreign mercenaries' in Donetsk
The Russian Defense Ministry announced on November 27 that it had killed about 100 foreign mercenaries in a precision missile strike near the town of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine.
"Up to 100 foreign mercenaries and six armored vehicles were destroyed in the Chasiv Yar area as a result of a strike with high-precision weapons carried out by the Russian air force," said Russian military spokesman General Igor Konashenkov.

The small Ukrainian-controlled town has been the scene of fierce fighting for days, with Ukraine reporting at least three injuries after a Russian missile hit a facility there on November 26.
Russian news agency TASS also quoted Russian General Konashenkov informing the press about the attacks on six command posts in the Kherson and Kharkov regions and some places in Donetsk.
Spokesman Konashenkov also announced the destruction of an ammunition depot for a Ukrainian army HIMARS multiple launch rocket system near the city of Dnieper, which has been heavily shelled by Russia in recent days./.
